Finding Purpose in Advocacy:

My journey to New Leaf Family began in my hometown of central Illinois, where I discovered my passion for advocacy and helping others. After completing my B.S. and J.D. at the University of Southern Illinois, I started my legal career in asbestos law. However, it was through my experiences in family law that I found my true calling—to empower individuals and families through life's transitions.

A Move to Colorado:

Long before I began my legal career, I knew that the mountains of Colorado would one day be my home. During law school, I had the opportunity to clerk at several Denver law firms, where I gained experience in personal injury and criminal law. But it wasn't until I found New Leaf Family that I truly felt at home. Here, I found a community dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
